Should I buy Mercs 2?

Simple question, should I buy Mercenaries 2? I'm expecting it to be a game I can mess around and shoot people in a mindless action game, would it fufill? I'm buying it for PC btw for like $10, my system can run it, and also will I be bogged down with buggy DRM or has that been fixed?

It's definitely worth $10. I paid 30 and found it to be worth the price.

And yes, it IS good for mindless action. The ability to level city blocks and obliterate massive oil derricks makes for some excellent "rampage" gameplay.

Get it on trade in and it won't disapoint - they could have built on the first one more than they did, but its still a lot of fun, and features some genius bits you don't see in other games, like having vehicles you can't be arsed to pinch airlifted in, proper ordinance like bunker busters and artillery, and you can attach a grappling hook to copters, winch yourself up and through the pilot out. Much fun.

For $10, I would say yes, it's a bit buggy, but the action is great, a lot of destruction. Good variety of vehicles. It was fun for a while. I got it for $15, and I feel that it's worth about that.
