Should I buy these?

so im sitting here holding my paycheck in hand thinking "ok so ive got some spare money and im in the mood for a good RPG". basically id like you escapist members to give me some reasons as to why i should or shouldnt buy 'Mount & Blade' and 'Risen' off steam right now.

also when giving reasons dont recommend other rpg games because ive either got it, played it or already know what its like. just tell me why i should/shouldn't buy these games

Mount and Blade is great if you get some mods for it and Ive never heard of Risen so cant suggest whether to get that or not.

Mount and blade is good if you want to waste hours of your life away without realising.
I played the Risen demo, didn't like it. I'd try the demo yourself first.

Buy them.

If you want them and you can spare the money, buy them. If they're not good, you can return them within a week of buying them for a full refund (if you buy from GameStop) at least that was the policy at the one I went to.

think medievil, loads of different weapons, a massive kingdom, a large range of armor and battles with 100npcs on either team

Well if you havent got it and you aren't only lookin for a fantasy rpg mass effects only 15 euro
Also mount and blade is quite good and a bit different

Play the demos and decide.

I swear I thought I was going to see a picture of platforms with fish in the heels.

I don't recognise the games so I assume these are PC games. Have you got Left for Dead? - that seems pretty good.
