This was pretty much bait for another question, which would be harder to summarise in the title.
While I definately do want to know if people think it's worth while, also I had a supporting inquiry. What exactly IS the game? It looks, at first glance, like a Battlefield-esque open world which doesn't follow scripts and just allows for massive open warfare, fought in any way you like. Such was my assumption.
However when I read about the actual plot, and the confines of the characters, I wonder if I was right at all. Or is Arma II like Bad Company 2? A linear game which follows a select few, established characters?
