Should I keep playing Thief 1?

I recently brought all three thief games of GOG Games, and I've been playing Thief Gold. I liked the first mission, with me sneaking into the noble's house without trying to make as little disturbance as possible.

The second mission (at the prison) frustrated me a little but it was okay. However the third mission has me exploring this huge crypt without any map or direction on where to go, and I'm getting annoyed with it.

So is the rest of the game more like this sneaking through crypts, or is it more like the first mission. Also are the next two games, more about sneaking into houses or sneaking into crypts.

It's generally sneaking in to mansions, houses and what not in all the games. There are a some crypts and what not though. I'd recommend pushing through it even so.

I say to keep pushing, the crypt levels are annoying especially with the zombies but the majority of levels involve the usual sneaking into mansions and such. Or you could jump to Thief 2, not a crypt in sight and only two undead enemies in the entire game.
