Should I play through Fable 3 again?

I beat it last night, playing nicey-nice and being a generally good guy. I'm debating if I should play through a second time, being as evil as I can be. There are two things that make me stop and really debate if I should do it-

1. The story doesn't make much sense if you're as big a jerk as Logan (or worse than). I think that a lot of cut scenes would seem out of place.

2. When I finished playing last night, I looked back and thought, "I really didn't get any enjoyment out of that. The morality system is just a pointless gimmick and relationships are as shallow as possible. The story is generic and predictable, even the first time through. Still though, maybe it all warrants a second playing to see the other side of things?

My biggest motivation of playing through as evil would be just to cause as much suffering to the two dimensional NPCs as possible. If Charles Darwin had lived in Albion, he would have shot himself.

I would say that it's not as fun to play evil in that game. Mainly because there's no real sense of reward or consequence for doing so.

So my advice is no. I wouldn't.

Well if you're still enjoying it when you do, sure. Though maybe wait a while at least? I find that replaying games too soon can be a bit dull regardless.
I really didn't even enjoy it the first time around...
This would be a more... "Let's see what's different," and also, "Let's burn these villagers to the ground."

Hm, fair enough.
I think I'll borrow Fable 2 from my friend tomorrow. Then I can at least say that I gave all 3 a fair shot. Does 2 have big differences between good and evil? I normally lean towards good, but evil can be fun too.

If you didn't like it the first time around...

I would suggest that you play Fable 2. It's way more fun than 3 and it actually makes a lot more sense. To me, 2 has always been the better game.

For any one interested, I have started Fable 2. And although it still isn't as RPG as I'd like, it's not bad. I prefer the combat and experience systems of Fable 1 & 2 over the third game. Story so far is better and it wouldn't be ruined if you chose good or evil (at least up to the point I'm at.)

Thanks for the advice!

Just a warning, Fable 2 has one of the worst endings of any game I have played (not story wise really, but the final boss fight is terrible and the final "choice" is truly only one option if you are a real human-being )

I hated beating the game as a good guy. Mostly because one of my answers as King ended up with everyone vomiting in the streets, indefinitely, when I assumed it would only be for a short while.

Seriously, who thought that was a good idea?
