I have this person on XBL that was on my friends list for a while then he became a total dick so after a few games we removed each other and then a few weeks later he spams me with friend requests and (because i believe he wont be a dick) accept them 2 days later we are yelling at each other...repeat....so should i block all communications or give him even more chances?

You can't expect people to change "eventually." True, he might be nice to you eventually.... It's just that "eventually" might be several years from now.

From the sounds of it hes a jerk. He won't suddenly become nice. People do not change their ways in dramatic ways without a major event in their life. If he gets his teeth knocked out for acting like a douche he might change but hes not going to just suddenly change.

I'm not sure I really understand where you're coming from. If this person is causing you torment, then don't associate with him, regardless of what he may or may not be "In the Future". Because in the present, you see, he's an asshole, and that's all that really matters.

Instead of making yourself miserable while focusing on someone you don't like, why not use that energy to become friends with people you DO like, thus making yourself happier in the process.
