Do we belong over there? Was it really necessary to invade Iraq? And who do you think caused 911? And also do you think Obama will pull us out?

First of all no. We shouldn't be in Iraq, waste of time, money, lives, and equipment. 9/11 was caused by a bunch of pissed off muslims (wadrya retarded?). And we have signed an agreement with the new Iraqi government to be completely out of Iraq by 2011 so Obama really has nothing to do about it anymore.

Dude, I just looked outside and there's about five inches of snow.

Are you sure we're in Iraq?
That's just a trick that the evil government is doing to fool you into buying their watermelons. I must be in Iraq because its boiling hot here at the moment.

Excellent South Park reference... but I saw it comin' =P

Anyways, of course we shouldn't be over there. It was an unjustified invasion. And all we did was say "whoops... sorry" and we didn't even leave! It's pretty pathetic. Sure, Hussein is dead now, but it was done during an illegal war (there really is no "legal" war, but you get what I mean?)

And as for 9/11... We probably will never know EXACTLY who did it, but it was most likely an extremist group, Al Qaeda or otherwise.

And will Obama pull us out? Jesus Christ, I wish he would, but he won't. It's a damn shame, too. We need to get out of there.

No matter how much I dislike the idea now that we have been thrown into Iraq by Bush the worst thing we could do is pull all of our troops at once without other bodies stepping in.

We broke thier country and now wether we like it or not we have to take at least a little responsibilty in fixing it

I'm not trying to be hostile, I'm just saying..its kinda uncommon for people..7 years later into the war, to be wondering why it started =/

If I offended your morale, I apologize.

Plus i think this may start a flame war over some people opinions and we all know mods don't like that =/

There's actually no such place as Iraq or the middle east. The US government invented the whole thing and hired actors to get cosmetic surgery and pretend they're from there, so they can justify their massive military budgets, keep people in a perpetual state of fear and make an arseload off the oil that they're secretly drilling from hidden oil wells in an unspecified location within the United States

Quickly typing means many errors

well we have allowed the almost total corruption of the new Iraq government, we could try and fix that before leaving the people to destroy themselves until another dictator takes power (not like that doesn't seem like a much easier alternative).

Either we hold new elections monitored by the U.S. and the U.N. or we cut all but essential fundng, that we distribute at our own discretion, until they fix it themselves.
