Ok people....maybe you should ALL think about this for a minute...A GOOD PARENT...in who's eyes????
I have recently been investigated by social services due to some malicious complaints from people that have a dislike for me.... I have NEVER in my life abused my children....people who know me say that this is ridiculous because I am a great parent.
I do not drink, smoke pot or do any other illicit drugs! my children have no signs of physical abuse, are well fed, loved, go to school and are taken to the doctor over even MINOR things (which my pediatrician often comments on)....I have taken my daughter to TWO eye doctors because the first one said her eye's were fine and she insisted that they were not. My youngest has had 2 operations due to his breathing issues and has seen a specialist and I have rented machines that he has to wear at night to study what the problem may be, my middle child has been in speach therapy since he was three because I was concerned about his speach patterns and I have been talking to the teachers at school constantly and have even hired (yes with my own money)a tutor to help my 8 year old because she is having some problems with her reading and writing.......Does this sound like the actions of a "Neglectful or bad parent" ???
Social Services has at NO TIME spoken or tried to contacted my children's pediatrician, they have not talked to the teachers at the school and have only asked for the records of attendance which says we are "late a lot"....Does this make me a bad parent??? Does what one crumby neighbor and disgruntled friend (no longer a friend btw)say actually mean anything when it comes to HOW i parent???? Apparently this give them the right to put someone in my home and "ASSESS" how I am doing??? When are our personal rights as mature adults protected from Government interference....
Are you guys ALL willing to let the GOVERNMENT decide if you are a "GOOD PARENT"???? I NEVER in my life thought that this would happen to me and have often agreed with most of you when it comes to having a license to raise children until SOMEONE at Social Services Arbitrarily decided that my children were emotionally troubled? They do not have pychology degree and yet they get to decide that my kids are not healthy or NOT doing well. Just think if you did need a license and these were the IDIOTS that decided YOUR FATE!!!
The funny thing is how easy it was for me before all this to think (and I thought it OFTEN) "Dammit these horrible parents should have to get a license cause they are really screwing up thier poor kids"....I was even a foster parent for some time.....and yet someone decided that I am not fit to raise my own kids on my own....
I am really eating my words right now...lol
