I agree that it's an amazing stock cooler, but shit, the noise is stupid! You thought a 360 in full swing was loud, it's nothing compared to this!Irriduccibilli said:Alright. I don't think it'll bother me, i'm used to have a PC that's noisy, but I appreciate the heads upUltraDolphins said:I have the 1090T in mine so from what I know they should be the same stock coolers. It's fine idle but under load it gets a little loud spinning at 5200 RPM. now don't get me wrong it is a fantastic stock cooler keeping my cpu idle at 29c and about 45c under load.Irriduccibilli said:Really? I heard the direct opposite, but that was coming from AMD themselves, so I guess thats something they have to sayUltraDolphins said:Quite the setup right there. Be ready for the jet engine they send as the cooling fan for your CPU. It keeps it pretty cool but the thing is loud.Irriduccibilli said:CPU

There's a really simple solution though, just swap the stock cooler for an aftermarket unit with larger and quieter fans. Something from Zalman or Noctua will be perfect. You can run those fans at 100% constantly and never be bothered by them.
