Right.

So I'm a senior this year, and for that occasion me and the rest of the seniors are hosting a show this weekend. In this performance I am to impersonate Mr. Barack Obama, the President of the United States.

Only trouble is that I'm the whitest man walking on this side of the earth. I was just wondering if there's anyone out there who has a shred of thought on how I could make my skin a lot darker fast, and quickly wash it off afterwards.

EDIT: Ok, seems I've stepped into dangerous territory here. I apologize deeply if someone have been offended by this. You may still reply your thoughts about it, skip the make up help and tell me if something like this would be characterized as inapropriate.

I recommend maybe a cardboard cutout mask instead of "blackface". There's a lot of negative historical connotation with that, and people may get offended.

Oh, I know you're joking.

Because I'm sure I didn't just read you asking for advice on how to put on blackface to impersonate Obama.

Get a banjo and a straw hat while you're at it.

Seriously though, don't.

Oh god No...

Please don't do that. Just wear an Obama mask or something. Do not do "blackface"

DO NOT DO!

Well, I do see that point and I've given it a bit of thought, but me and the show comitee have reached the conclusion that when it comes to this part in particular, we don't expect that to be an issue.

Take also into regard that we're a relatively tight knit community at my school, and everyone knows pretty much everyone, so for the added comical effect we've agreed that the best way to go is some sort of make up etc. to darken my skin.

And I want to stress that I'm certain that this will not offend anyone. It's actually very classy if I dare say so.

I'm guessing that means you live in a small, near 100%-white community.

And suddenly this all makes sense.
