The Young Ones. A british comedy about four students living in a flat together, one was a punk, one was a 'power to the people' liberal type, one was a peace loving hippie and the last one was a sex crazed womaniser. It was damn funny even if it ended kind of abruptly, it was a show me and my sisters used to watch together and it became a way for us to bond.

"El Kabong!" Main character was a Zorro styled Horse that used a guitar as a weapon by smashing his foes across the head with it, making a "Ka-bong!" sound. And he had a little Donkey side-kick.
"Hong Kong Fuey" It featured a dog who secretly worked as a kung-fu secret agent.
I grew up on that awesome-sauce crap until Looney Toons came into play (I miss Chuck Jones).

Doug. From the old Nick.
I thought that one was pretty well known.

I used to watch this cartoon on Nickelodeon called Rupert. It was about an otter I think. No one else has even heard of it.

Ah; Percy! Pirate Percy! I named my stuffed penguin Percy after him, I think.
Yes! Percy!

I remember liking him, there was something kinda creepy about him though

Ugh don't remind..I hated that part...
You guys remember the villain? He had a face that was just a handlebar mustache above really tall, narrow teeth.

If that's the show I'm thinking of, there were a couple episodes of it as a bonus on some Rugrats videos I used to have.

Also, lots of people remember Rugrats, but not too many remember Rugrats: All Growed Up.

Forgot the name, but this one CGI show about these cube-shaped anthropomorphic animals who lived on an island, and the main character liked pudding.
I remember that show, but not the name. :/

That was actually the Quick Draw McGraw show. El Kabong was his super identity.

Who is this super hero?
Sarge? No...
Rosemary, the telephone Operator? No...
Penry, the mild-mannered janitor? Could be!

Not a show, but a commercial harrowing to a preschooler:

Absolute stillness in a household not unlike yours. The stationary camera revealed no sign of life around the white linoleum in the backroom floor, kitchen, and bedroom. The quick, base beeping following the dial tone tolled over all this from a corded phone hanging off the hook.
Suddenly, it cut to a wide shot of the house from a low angle with an impossibly large Saturn looming over the culdesac, its rings pointing out to the unfathomable depths of space.

Does anybody know what the hell this was an advertisement for? I've been half-heartedly searching for years.
TalkTalk Global Plan - Rocket to Saturn?

Now I'm imagining only British adults will even remember these...
Post full of win. The only ones I'd add in would be Hector's House, Bagpuss, Mr Benn and Izzy Noho.

The original Green Hornet as well.

Robo-Story would come in but only if it was the lowest of the low.

I do wonder though, how many people actually know Rocky and Bullwinkle?

And if you think Twilight ruined Vampires...
WAY before then.

Or Goober & The Ghost Chasers

DynoMutt

I'll shush now.

I vaguely remember that guy. Wasn't it like Horace something? Horace Horrible?

I don't think he was the main villain though, I think that was the skin-taker. I can?t believe what they let us watch back then.

Dragon Warrior (based on Dragon Quest), Sky Commandos, Popples, Wuzzles and CBS Storybreak. Outside of the first and last ones, they are forgotten with good cause. Mmm, maybe Wuzzles wasn't that bad, just not particularly note worthy. I'm pretty sure people out there fondly remember GummiBears but a DVD release doesn't look too likely.

At least some company out there became aware of The New Adventures of Mighty Mouse and put it on DVD. It wasn't based upon a toy so kids of the 1980s had no love for it. What a shame.
