I will add another vote for Young Justice, but with one caveat: they officially make it part of the DCAU, and MAKE MORE SHOWS THAT ARE PART OF IT SERIOUSLY THAT CONCEPT WAS AWESOME.

I'd also like more Firefly, but not with the old cast. I'd like to see something else set in that universe, though that's even less likely to happen than a Firefly reboot.

Avatar: The Last Airbender had a clear and definite end, although they're currently in the third graphical novel bridging it and Legend of Korra

As for Legend of Korra the show itself, they aired season 2 last year and season 3 is coming this year

I want to see a remake of the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon from the 80's. I remember watching it when I was a kid and D&D mad and I loved it like no other show. I also had a thing for Diana and Sheila (they were totally hot to my young self).


I recently bought the collection and was shocked and aghast to learn that they quit making episodes [footnote] Due to low ratings rather than being run out of town, though some religious idiots considered D&D to be satanic *rolls eyes*.[/footnote] just before making THE VERY LAST EPISODE!!!

Futurma REALLY needs to come back. That show is just dead on. So dead on that science continuously invents things that Futurama dreamt up long ago. Also, it's about a million times better than The Simpsons or Family Guy or any of those related shows. Unlike those, which are pretty dumb most of the time, Futurama was pretty damn brilliant basically always.

I think Futurama's had its fair run. Over ten seasons is pretty damned respectable. Plus, it was starting to lose a bit of its charm and just go for dumb humor.

That's true of The Simpsons, but not Futurama.
Futurama had a good run but it also clearly had a lot more episodes in it. Over all those years it never
really slowed down or wavered in being great, aside from an occasional episode here or there.

I actually disagree quite strongly. I think Futurama should have stayed cancelled after the end of season 4, with "The Devil's Hands are Idle Playthings" being the last episode. I am a huge fan of these four seasons and have watched most of the episodes countless times over the years. There was a clear change in humour when they made the movies and the two newer seasons; the "dumb humour", as fat american put it, became far more prevalent and the feel of the episodes changed. Actually, there were quite a few episodes that I thought were just really weird, rather than funny, like "The Six Million Dollar Mon".

Furthermore, the old seasons had a few episodes which explored more emotional topics, such as "Jurassic Bark", "Luck of the Fryish" and "Leela's Homeworld" and did so with a touch of class. I didn't come across any episodes in the new seasons that were even remotely touching. The old seasons are really in a Leela of their own.



Anyway, OT, there's a fairly new show I've been watching recently called "Almost Human", and I've heard that it has been cancelled as well, although I'm not totally sure. If it has been cancelled, then I firmly believe it needs to be brought back!

Samurai Pizza Cats, one of the best written animated shows I've ever had the ecstatic pleasure to watch. Sat AM Sonic as well, though to something of a lesser degree. I wouldn't mind Reboot showing up either, though I think I read that a remake is actually on the way already? Transformers done properly, without all of this Michael Bay idiocy.

Oh, and I would very much like to see the MechWarrior television series again. Even finding the original episodes is a bit of a ***** these days; seems as though it passed under the radar for the most part, which is a shame.

Really old i think, and i can't really remember the name, Dragonflies? I think. Men with wings and it had dragons and lava and stuff. Crazy cartoon made years ago. Also Biker mice from mars.

I have this horrible sense that this thread is dating me. I remember most of what's been mentioned, but only in terms of "what the kids these days are watching", not having bothered with any myself. I'll tell you one thing that I want, though, purely for its amazing name - Cadillacs & Dinosaurs.

I almost forgot about Project G.K.R., with the titular character voiced by the same guy who did Fry on Futurama. Virtually unheard of, I've never met a single person who remembers that show, but it was brilliant.

Spectacular Spider-Man.
That show was 100% everything a good Spider-Man should be. It had a cool theme song, and relatable characters. It took the time to develop the relationships between the core cast to a degree that it still holds the title for the only incarnation of Venom I give a shit about.

On a technical level I absolutely adored the character designs. They updated things when needed but managed to do so without completely altering the look or feel of the character.

Wait... I thought that series ended to make fun of other series that end too soon, though? If you ask me, I would have preferred a movie follow-up that makes fun of the fact that not all movie follow-ups.. well.. follow-up on their respected storylines, I guess?

Have you got a chance to see some of the latest episodes of Wander Over Yonder on Disney XD? Apparently, it's now on a channel that "barely referenced" on The Disney Channel itself, outside of some "hour or so-long block" that showcases only the "sitcom" shows on Disney XD, anyway...

Carnivale: One of the best shows from HBO. The ending was at least somewhat concluded, but already introduced the next act. The producers had six seasons in mind when making that show, but sadly it ended too soon.

Rome: Another great show from HBO that ended way too early. I've heard that this show wasn't even stopped due to its poor ratings but because of the producers taking a break. When they wanted to return for a third season there was not enough money left.
