Picture this: an RP based around images, rather than words. Instead of typing out what your character does, you'd draw their actions instead.
Now, as I understand it, a number of you are under the illusion that you cannot draw; it is for this reason that I suggest the use of incredibly simplistic characters in this RP; specifically, these:
For a single post, one would upload the drawing of their action to an image-hosting site, such as Photobucket, and embed it into their post. This is very easy to do; simply make an account on Photobucket, click the big "upload image" button on the first page of your profile to upload it; then, upon being directed to the image, copy the "IMG Code" to the left and paste it into your post.
For events such as conversation, a single image should suffice; for larger events, such as exposition or combat, multiple images in comic-strip format would probably work better.
For PvP combat, I have decided on a system similar to that of The Ratings War, a popular RP on The Escapist; each combatant posts their version of events, and either I or a panel of judges shall decide which participant should be declared the victor.
As, in all likelihood posts will take some time to prepare, I am instigating a policy of placeholds: every time you wish to post something, you must make a placehold stating your intentions. Anyone failing to comply shall be dealt with. Violently.

So, basically, you're joining what's a cross between the police force and the Justice League. Sounds fun, eh?

The world is shrouded in darkness. Criminals ad other unpleasant sorts exist everywhere, and have all but taken over the world. One man, one good man, decided he didn't like the turn the world was taking, and he took it upon himself to rid the world of this evil; he became a crimefighter, a friend of justice. A hero. But, alas, he was but one man, and sometimes a powerful drive and strong sense of what's right just aren't enough to change the world. So, this man assembled a team. An army of like-minded friends of justice. Together, he and his small band of heroes sought to change the world for the better, and make those epic realms in which they resided a brighter place.
That was over two hundred years ago. All of the heroes from that time have long since died and gone. But though the great man passed, his ideals did not, and the foundation he spent his life establishing continued long after his death.
You, undeterred by the short life expectancy of an ally of justice, and for reasons known only to yourself, set out to join the great man's establishment. Who knows what interesting mishaps you and those around you will get up to during your stay? Surely it'll be an interesting experience, at least... and who knows? Maybe you, like the great man who's name you carry with you, can do what he set out to accomplish, and make the world a more wonderful place. Who can say?
