When I'm ill and off school (like today) I do a lot of cleaning and reading.
Sometimes I'll play a couple of games on the PC or go on the internet.

This is my 7th day sick with glandular fever and tonsilitus (I don't care about looking up the spelling) and basically I Downloaded heaps of PDF files and read stuff like the watchmen, zombie survival guide, US army Training Manual, How to hypnotise people in 90 seconds. Basically useless crap (eccept for the first two!) but still It actually kept my mind really active and I did learn a lot of new things about communicating with people, well more the way people communicate and such. Then when I got needed a break I just looked at pictures of Dita Von Teese. Time Flew. Or just rent cool movies.

Well, I only have three words of advice for a fellow sick web browsing individual;
Wheel of Fortune!
This is the absolute best thing to do on a sick day. One caveat though, it has to be the bob barker ones, none of this new crap.

I usually visit The Onion, or play video games, or browse The Escapist, or read webcomics. PM me if you want a list of good ones you can try reading.

Thanks for the generous offer but I'm going to have to pass. I have to much on my plate momentarily. My friends already recommended to much stuff for me that I have to go through and I'm afraid I'll end up forgetting most of them. Thank you again. :)

When I am sick, I clear my day(s), turn off my phone, buy a couple bottles of Nyquil, and generally sleep it off. I hate being awake when I am sick.

It depends, really. Yesterday I had a nasty stomach bug, and I spent the day dancing around the house and singing songs by The Hush Sound.

I wouldn't recommend that for you, though. Try sleeping for a while, it makes the time pass much more quickly.

Hope you feel better, as well.

I tend to walk around the house when I'm ill, strolling aimlessly from room to room and from floor to floor. Stop at a window every now and then to look outside a bit.
Playing games and reading gets more annoying than entertaining when I have to stop every 30-60 seconds to wipe my nose and cough my lungs out so there isn't much else to do.

I hate colds. My nose runs nearly the whole year, just between September and January it gets a million times worse. This year it started earlier than usual. Blegh.
