Resident evil is a series about zombies, and who dosen't love killing zombies.(duh)I'm writing this because I feel that there are somethings that need to be said that were never said.

Well anyway, let me cut to the chase, you play as Chris Redfield(He was the protaganist in other Resident Evil games)and he is going to Africa because terrorist have some of Umbrellas biological weapons.(Called Oroboros)
This game also introduces a African partner named Sheva, for two reasons, Co-Op gameplay, and because they don't want to be called racist or something.
The story is not very good, well because it makes no impacts on the player and it would take a true blue Resident Evil fan to tell you whats going on. So you start off in a angry African town where everybody hates you, then you meet an arabian arms dealer that gives you guns, and I guess he is the worlds worst arms dealer because he only gives you pistols at the start, then you walk around a little then you go in a building then a cut-scene, there is a group of zombies at a exicution ceremony an there is a big guy with an ax with needles sticking out of his back that kills the arms dealer, now I want you to look me in the eye(you know what I mean) and tell me that this creature was not a pyramid head rip-off, I mean look at it, It's large, has something covering his head, drags around a huge heavy bladed weapon, and it moves slowly!
Basically it is about one of Chris's old enemys Albert Wesker trying to activate the biological weapon Oroboros.(Sorry not that many spoiliers:))
One of Resident Evil 5's bigger flaws is the inventory system. first of all you have only nine spaces for items, luckly ammo will stack, but anything else will take up a space.(Oh and if ammo can stack why cant healing items??) Also to use items you must go through a menu, I know what your thinking,"Thats not too bad" but all of this is in real time! So you have too go through menus while you are fighting a masked man branishing a chainsaw ready to rip you up like an angry logger, just to equip a gernade.
Also there has been one problem that has been bugging me, and that is the combat. You see when you aim your gun you can't move, you must stand still (I have concluded that all Resident evil protagonist have a strange illness where whenever they lift there arms to chest height the are paralized from the waste down.)and when you are being chased by zombies ready to murder you, you will need some movement, and you wiil want to put some distance between you and the zombies, also you must press and hold a button to run, and if you don't then you will just walk, so why can't you lightly jog when you aren't running?(Marcus Fenix can lightly jog, Alex Shepard can lightly jog, and I can lightly jog!) although the aiming is pretty good, you use a laser pointer to aim, and a fair warning, if you run out of ammo, then your screwed, you do have a knife, but it is extremely weak and when you pull it out you can't walk, but I guess I can forgive It THIS time since the knife can destroy objects in one slice. Then you have the shop, which you go to when you die or when you enter another chapter. The shop is very well done, you have a place to store extra stuff, and you can upgrade you weapons for a good price, also you can sell treasure you find, and when you pick up a piece of treasure your Co-Op partner gets a copy of that treasure too! Oh and the graphics look great!
And the Co-Op is great too, having someone to help you out when you fight zombies, when the game play is bad helps out a lot.
Also I don't think the game is racist, but they do like to follow cultural steriotypes.
Ex. the heroic white main charater(Chris), his black female friend(Sheva), the arabic arms dealer(the arabic guy), the sneaky, cheapscape white business man(Iviring), the british world domination freak(Albert Wesker)The African rich white girl(Can't remeber her name)
The game unfortunately is one of those sad games, it has so much potential to be a good game. I mean if the fix the combat, tweak the inventory system, work with the story a little, then you would have a great game, but the game is not bad, it just needs some work, and heck I had some degree of fun with it, so I would sugest you rent it, possibly buy it if you are a Resident Evil fan.

Thank you for your time.
"I tryied to put some more effort in this one:) besides just bashing twilight:)

You make a good point, I should really do better work proof reading, and I should of used a better example besides the gernade comment, such as something to do with healing items, and it would have been better for me to complain about all of them being ports of other charaters, also I agree with the making sure thinks are equal lenght, oh and sorry about that last comment, it was about some other thing I wrote.

I would like to thank you for the constuctive critisisim, and I will try to make better reviews in the future.
