So many feel that Bio Shock is a ripoff of System Shock and have noticed an abundant of similarities between InFamous and Prototype. I was wondering what other games out there do you feel are very similar or just blatant ripoffs?

Also bonus points for stating which one is better and why.

Wasn't Bioshock developed by the same team as System Shock and billed as its spiritual successor?

People are idiots.

Transformers was such a rip-off of that 80s kids show with Optimus Prime in it.

Makes me think Bioshock Infinite should have a new -shock name.

Sky-O-Shock? You heard the meme here first, people.

darksiders is a complete rip off of Zelda. Im not saying darksiders is bad it just is clearly influenced by the zeldas and god of wars of the past ten years. Zelda is obviously better because it has that nintendo charm and polish.

Well, as Yahtzee stated in his Darksiders review; there is a rather obvious link to Zelda.

At first I thought Yahtzee was exaggerating the similarities, but when I played it myself I was surprised. Boomerang, hookshot and a gun that shoots blue and orange portals? Come on..

At least Darksiders presents itself fairly well, so I let it slide.

Zelda beats Darksiders hands down, but I enjoyed Darksiders enough to play it through.

EDIT: Ninjad, goshdarnit.

Yes. Ken Levine worked on System Shock 2 and later founded 2k/Boston 2/k Australia. He brought with him the whole "shock" idea.
