Could someone explain to me why the line "Master of unlocking" is mentioned so much? I get it, with Jill it should have been "Mistress of unlocking"...

No, that's equally bad. Without knowing Japanese, I would guess that "Mistress of unlocking" is a too-literal translation of the original script, matching the original words instead of what an English speaker would say in that situation.

Probably "I found some lockpicks. Jill, you'd better take them -- you're good with locks."
