Lost the old thread, here's a new one.
This game supposedly beats the shit out of Journey and Dear Esther lol:
But seriously the reviews are all fucktarded and know nothing of the genre as usual.
This one is particularly bad:
The number of comparisons between Sine Mora and other games in that review are in fact zero, besides the hilarious Einhander namedrop.
The more knowledgable people in the STG community are basically saying; Sine Mora is a good/ decent but heavily flawed game. I've only played the trial but I can definitely see where most of the big complaints are coming from. People even want some of these things fixed in an update (lol ME3.) The most notable complaints are bullet visibility, analouge instead of digital control and the random drops and how it effect the scoring system. Other complaints are about design of patterns, the time mechanic, and aspects of the scoring system.
Despite all the problems this game still looks pretty good in my opinion and I'd buy it if it weren't for wanting to spend money on other things atm. Anyone picked it up?

http://www.destructoid.com/review-sine-mora-224060.phtmlI found Sine Mora to be substantially more cerebral and moving than Journey, Dear Esther, and other celebrated "Art Games
It?s just as brave and elegant as Journey, while being as accessible and fun as a cherished Irem classic.

http://gamingirresponsibly.com/review-sine-mora-360Sine Mora is straight up one of the best Shoot-em Up games I have played in this current console generation. In fact, it really may be the best I have played since the days of Super Nintendo.
Actually, Sine Mora is an incredibly difficult game. It is easy to say it could be the Dark Souls of it?s genre since it isn?t very forgiving at all.
