TES 4 Oblivion would be fun to have few friends.
Well then, I believe you'll be happy to hear that I read somewhere that Bethesda is working on a Elder Scrolls MMO. Not sure where I read that, so it could be wrong... I myself hope it's wrong, because they also said they're currently not working on TESV, and I just don't need another F*cking MMORPG!

OT: How about Bioshock? Oh damn, that got a multiplayer.
Demon's Souls then? Oh, that IS multiplayer.
How about Assasin's Creed? Ah, they're already working on that.
Deas Space should have a multiplayer. Oh wait, the sequel has been confirmed to have mp support.
Nope, sorry. I got nothing.

mass effect 2. the first player would be there shepard. player 2 and 3 would chose one of the characters that shepard had. it would be cool to have that for online and split-screen.

Fallout 3 and Oblivion would be awesome with a group of people. In fact about every massive sandbox style game would be much better with a teammate.

Portal (getting fixed with Portal 2)
Just Cause 2

No big fan of multiplayer shoehorning though.

Pokemon, it would be full of people in the Hoenn starting area saying "SO I HERD U LIEK MUDKIPZ?" But it would be fun otherwise.
There is actually a Pokemon game called Pokemon: Den of Ages. It's free, and not popular enough to be trolled.

Personally, I think TES: Oblivion would have benefited from (if nothing else) an online bazaar. That would have been nice. Past that, I think it would be awesome if you could join your friends in their current games. That way you could muster a band of well-equipped PCs to stop the Siege Engine, fight Mankar Cameron, and defend Martin on the way to the Temple! How awesome would that be? Plus, for those of us who don't like having all those Oblivion gates everywhere, you could not start the main story once you escape the sewers, and play that entire campaign with your friend in his realm!

Also, since the missions of Mass Effect 2 are set up so that each mission plays like just a normal game's level (as opposed to ME1, where it was all free-roam and such), they could have easily made it so that you could invite friends to join and play as one of the squad mates. Honestly, that would have added so much to that game, and they just didn't bother! A POX UPON YOUR GOATS, BIOWARE! A POX I SAY!

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2's campaign would be a good candidate for a co-op mode retool. Not sure how Foley and Mactavish would adress both of you at the same time, though.

I tried the search bar and couldn't find any threads like this, so I'm gonna post it as my first thread.

What games do you think should have had multiplayer or would have been awesome with multiplayer?

I personally like the idea of Prototype with a sort of hunting mode. A group of people with the virus must track down one person with the virus. I think that having them shape-shifting to try and avoid capture would be great. And big chases across rooftops would rock
Every game would be great with coop, but with competitive MP I cannot think about anything.

The sims. That way you didn't have to control every character and it would be so much easier.
I have The Sims and The Sims 2 for PS2 and while the PC version is definitely better they pulled off split screen pretty well in the console versions (especially The Sims 2, but considering they took out the whole child bearing thing in that game you'd only be able to play as roommates, which is still pretty fun).

Portal! Portal fights FTW.
Their is going to be a different story for the co-op as two robots in Portal 2, though if fighting can get any worse then tricking the other player into falling into a flame pit, I don't know

It would be great if Metroid Prime had multiplayer. It would have worked.

And no, I don't consider MP2 to have multiplayer. What it has is shit.

Shadow of the Colossus has great potential to be multiplayer. It would be even better if the colossusses(colussi?)where mountain-sized, so that it would take two people to penetrate it's weak point.
