i need a good, relatively cheap single player PC game (lower than £20 if possible)

if it is more than £20 but an absolute must purchase then please suggest it, along with one that is under £20 if you can

my PC is pretty good and can handle any game at high settings so don't worry about if its a very demanding game

Thanks

Also for any Americans, £20 is equal to $33 so anything under that

My favourite genres would have to be FPS, RPG, Stealth, bit of Horror ([small]although i am prone to shitting my pants when playing horrors[/small])

i already own:

CS:S

Crysis

Garry's Mod

GTA IV

GTA IV EFLC

Homefront

Metro 2033

Super Meat Boy

I could list like 500 games...
Why not help narrow it down?

Should the games be relatively new? What genres do you like? List a few of your alltime favorite games so we can get a better understanding of what you like.

I'm pretty sure minecraft is only like £15 which can be played single player and is pretty enjoyable.

Dragon Age Ultimate edition for PC download is ~£20

Also I think Oblivion is around £20

Amnesia?

Go to the Steam store. Find something that looks interesting. Play the demo if you're really unsure.

Metro 2033 is really very good, but linear. Kinda Horror/ FPS but in Russian metro tunnels.
Arkham Asylum is very good as well.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl is a must play and is definitely worth the 10 euros on steam.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series - FPS, rpg-elements(very slight), scary as all hell when it wants to be.
Planescape: Torment - RPG, great story, greater characters, greatest points.
Vampire: The masquerade: Redemption/Bloodlines - RPG(s) rather different games, but both in set in the World of Darkness setting. Both are great.
The Witcher - RPG. Great story, universe, characters and so forth.
Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind(with expansions). RPG - also great. greatness mainly located in the setting.

Easiest thing to do is go to Steam and check out the under 10 and under 5 lists. There are quite a few good ones there. Also look at the sales and specials. When you find one you may like look up reviews.

I would check out practically anything over at Good Old Games (www.gog.com) which you don't have...
