I am fully aware this is the last place to ask for medical advice, but I've run out of viable options.

If you had a splitting pain in your upper-left temple, which medication or treatment would you use? So far I've tried Nyquil and inhaling steam, but to no avail.

Wrong, that's 4Chan.

I recommend some painkillers, mixed with a cup of tea.

Calumon: If that fails, just send us a picture of your face and your name. I'll write it down and have it sorted in 40 seconds!

Alright dude, I have a migraine through my sinuses just about every day, so I guess you're going to get no sympathy here. So here are my basic remedies. If it's in your sinuses it's most likely an allergen/irritant so you have to cleanse the cavity, sodium bicarbonate and water are the best bet. A muscle relaxer (I use tiger balm) relieves some of the pressure. But the only sure thing I have ever tried (and I'm addicted to them) is sudafed/sinutab, something prescribed for sinus headache, because tylenol never did a thing for me.
