Depends on if you want news or if you want reviews that aren't...less than savory. ANN is pretty good for just being a hub of press releases, VA's, and schedules, general information like that, but some of the bigger "reviewers" are just really annoying once you see them misinterpret something negatively for the dozenth time. Honestly one of the few things I miss from the era of fansubs and on-screen explanations.

But honestly if you want reviews/discussion, it's better to go look through the Youtube bunch, or go on streaming sites that have forums and look around that(there's also some people around here that stay around User Reviews for the most part). At least in English, I've heard some good things about a couple Japan-centric otaku-lite/heavy sites.
