I've always really loved ska. But I dunno why I feel that it is sort of disappearing out of modern music. So I'm wondering, who on the escapist listens to ska? And if you do, what bands in particular? I personally listen to Reel Big Fish, The Aquabats, Streetlight Manifesto, Big D & The Kids table, The Toasters and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones.

Please no negative feedback, I fully understand everyone has their own personal preferences in music, I'm just wondering about this one in particular.

Err, just the Specials and Madness here. Used to listen to Reel Big Fish, Big D and Less Than Jake but not really into that kind of stuff any more.

Ska gigs are soo good. When I saw LTJ for probably the 3rd time or so the lead singer made us crowd surf him to the bar.

We all know and love Reel Big Fish and their legion of modern day ska bands but has everyone forgotten Save Ferris, the band that made Reel Big Fish famous??

Ska rocks the shit.
I love this thread and everyone in it.

Streetlight for Life!

I'm also prone to listen to Reel Big Fish, Aquabats, Toasters, Less than Jake, Toasters, and Save Ferris.

I've just completely forgotten about Catch 22 after Streetlight Manifesto released their version of Keasby Nights.

Edit: Man I forgot to I also listen to Skankin' Pickle, Skatalites, Skoidats, Slackers, and the Oddjobs, but they're a local band so w/e.

Edit: Ugh, Planet Smashers too
