If you liked the game Skate 2 (or it's prequel), post here. Any montages you've made, clips you wanna share, general anecdotes about the game, love it, loathe it, post it all here! I personally love the game, and it's replay editor is something that should be available in more sports titles (3rd person shooters/action titles could benefit from them too.)

I love both games, though I was a little disappointed with Skate 2 to be honest, but might be because I overplayed it a bit in the first week. Also, I haven't been online with the game yet, but is Skate.reel any better this time around? If it is, I might put together the footage I have right now.

also, nice vid! Our styles are actually quite similar, I'm not big on glitchy/sloppy bullshit either.

Skate.reel works great for me. I never have a problem seeing my stuff online. Others have had issues with it, but upload a few clips and see how it is for you.

Definitely check the mountain in freeskate, the community pool (I think it's in The Res), and Upper Stacks, across the street from the school and that alphabet spot.

No, not really, I think you get all the locations and stuff in Freeskate right away.

You miss out on a few spots by not playing career, the Monster Clubhouse (skatepark), SV Stadium (the bastard child of the X Games stadium from Skate 1 & the Mega Compound), The Dam, and the GvR course, just off the top of my head.

But they aren't anything special.

skate 2 is better in my opinion. as for tony hawk, american wasteland was my favorite, and the series died with project 8.

When I first bought skate., it was hard to get used to, but in the end, I could do almost everything in the game, and it felt much better and rewarding to do tricks than in Tony Hawk's games.

Haven't played Skate 2 though, seemingly as I sold my Xbox 360, and still haven't bought a PS3.
When I do, I'll be sure to try it, since I loved the first one.
