Here's a bit of Ubisofts upcoming game, Assassin's Creed IV Blackflag 2 or Skull and Bones. Ubisoft basically took the ship combat, ditched everything else, and made a game out of it. Something Black Flag lovers have been asking for since AC4. The gameplay looks really good. It seems to have improved upon Black Flag's ship combat in many ways. The game looks beautiful, the ships look sweet, and the cannon fire is a lot better. It's kinda become arcadey, but I like the faster paced combat.
Unfortunately for me, the game ditches a lot of the other activities from Black Flag that made the experience enjoyable. No more treasure maps, Exploring islands, manually boarding ships, and tavern brawls. So it looks like I'll still be waiting for the pirate game I really want, AC4 with a Pirates of the Caribbean skin.
