SKY BROADBAND IS CRAP

Once upon a time, i had BT broadband, i had 2.5 speeds and could play online with some one else on the internet. then the sky broadband pakage caught my eye and i thought ' well thats realativly cheap, i could do with the money' and got it.
i then had 0.5 speeds and couldnt do a F****** thing, the help sevice was unhelpful, it constantly alternated and was no better then a kick in my broadband balls.

so i ask you this: whats your opinion on sky broadband?
by the end of this year my contract with sky will have ended and i can redeem myself by going back to BT...

I've been on Virgin for a while now. I fancy myself the new spokesperson.

In fact, It used to be NTL until it got bought out by Virgin, and the service has been excellent, consistently.

BT is also shite. I'd go with Virgin. It's not the best broadband but at least it's consistently high.

I can't say I know what Sky is, maybe it isn't in my country. But I had a lot of issues with Yak. My internet would turn on and off without reason, it would be terribly slow one minute, then fine the next.
It turned out to be a wiring issue in my house, but since I lived in an apartment I just switched to Bell's wireless internet. (It uses the same connection cellphones use)
Sucks about the year contract :| Maybe you can dispute it?

Oh Virgin with their fibre-optics millarkey... Maybe if can convince stingy parents it's worth it.

My internet is also pretty crappy.

However there is no contract or download cap, so yeah, not all bad.

Shite speeds but its enough to play vidya and they don't care how much you download in a month.
