Sky Player for Xbox 360

Sup folks.
I have been trying to access the Sky Player on my Xbox 360 for a few days now. Yet have been unable to.
The problem is that when it connects, it takes me to a screen where I can only see what my friends have been watching recently, no films, sports anything like that.
Is this happening to anyone else?
Ive searched the web and such, but to no avail.

All I do know is that setting up sky player is a bit of a *****. I tried to once, but after hours of trying to find out what they meant by sky id, it told me that I needed sky unlimited broadband or sky multiroom to actually watch anything at the last point of the damn process. I eventually did get unlimited due to download needs, but I haven't bothered to try getting it again.

Try the xbox live support twitter. They seem pretty helpful, and if they don't know how to fix it, they might at least point you in the right direction.

Thing is, I've had it for well over a year now with no problems, but about 3 days, it just stopped.
Asked my parents if they've changed anything with the Sky, but they said no.

However, thanks for the advice, i'll be sure to check it out.

I think it's been down for a few days, my was working fine last week, and all of a sudden it just wouldn't show me the option to play stuff, when i restarted, it comes up like you say. I sure hope it gets fixed soon

At least I'm not the only one.
If memory serves, they said they were doing work on it on the 7th of this month, but that it would be done by the 8th. I guess they must have messed up.

Yeah I knew they were doing something, but I deleted the message that said when so I wasn't to sure on specific details. I know they recently stopped the Sky Player with media center capabilities, maybe they turned off the 360 part as well by mistake.

I read online a way to counter it (I needed to finish watching "Dude, where's my car?"!!!
First sign out, exit sky player, go back on BUT do not sign in just press B, then wait for everything to load, go on the channel you want to watch and stuff, then sign in.
