So a trailer for the new DLC for Skyrim was posted on their website (and now posted here on The Escapist): http://www.elderscrolls.com/

It's based around building and managing your own house, looks interesting and is coming out to Xbox Live on September 4, not sure about other platforms yet.

At first it seemed kind of out of place at first, I don't know how to put it but it almost felt like a prank. But nonetheless, it seems interesting as other than Fable, I can't think of another open-world RPG that could pull it off.

What do you think of it so far?

Edit: Here's the Youtube link:

I thought they'd combine the adoption mechanics from that game week ages ago, also it looks like they aren't counting this as a proper DLC, as they just called it "add-on content" I recon it'll go for a much smaller price than Dawnguard, I wouldn't imagine them charging anything over £10 for it, heck, anything over £5 is pushing it.

I like the way we get our own highland cow! Instant purchase for me!

EDIT: Also, that wins this years award for most boring trailer ever, the voiceover guy couldn't even sound enthusiastic, and he was getting paid to say that stuff!

Well at least it's done better then the mod so I wouldn't object to giving them money for this, but at the same time it is just some recycled scripting and no real content so the price point should be about $5... and I predict it will actually be $15 instead.

I would pay no more then 5$ for that, otherwise there is no point as I'll spend my gametime somewhere else with no regrets. If its any more then 10$ I at least will get a good laugh.

So it's similar to the build your house mod but with a lot more crafting and choice of locations. I'm okay with this if the price is right, plus it gives our console brethren a chance to experience a little of the Skyrim mod magic that us on pc get.

I find this hilariously funny.

The Dovahkin, dragon-slayer, master-(assassin/mage/fighter/vampire/werewolf/etc.) just grew-up and became boring. Having to Fus Ro Dah skeever to fleetingly relive the glory days. Having to sneak out to the tavern, just for one drink because education is expensive, and hear the bards sing of tales you aren't sure even happened like that. Still kids would stay of your damn lawn one way of the other.

Or you could just bring up the children in the middle of a civil war and dragon attacks.

As I said last week quoting Stewie Griffin: "How about finishing this candy bar before you start another?"

FFS PS3 owners haven't gotton Dawnguard and they're gonna make another one?
