Ok people, time to brag: what is your highest level/are your highest levels (skills, general), which skills do you believe are best and what are according to you great perks?
Also, whats the level cap and has anyone reached it?

I'm only at level 25.
In my defense, I haven't been playing all that much. I keep getting "this disc is unreadable" messages when I start up the game.
I typically have to try to start the game 10 times over before I can start playing. I should probably get my 360 looked at.

And I have some peoblems with crashing as well. I was trying to do the main quest yesterday, but I couldn't get anywhere because some characters refused to talk.

My highest skill is probably smithing. It's at 80. I've been grinding (groan) that skill for a bit, since I wanted ebony armour.

My destruction is 77, I guess.
I just wanted the Wall of Flames spell, now I can finally work on other stuff!

I'm only at 25. My sword and shieldies are around level 65. And I'm not sure where my alchemy or smithing is, but they're probably up there.

I'm at level 40, and my highest is my smithing. Mostly cause of all the damn daggers I made because I wanted Daedric armor.

My legitimately highest skill is my one handed skill at 79. I feel it should be maxed, but I've been doing a little bit of everything. (Destruction Magic/One Handed because I feel like Darth Vader, with some Enchanting for Equipment Buffs, with some Conjuration because of all the soul trapping I've been doing, Restoration for healing, and now I'm working on sneak and archery too.)

My mage has 100 on illusion, destruction, conjuration and alteration.

And apparently the "max" level is 81, which is when you'll have every skill at 100.

I maxed archery, so I'm basically unstoppable. Hell, I was unstoppable long before. Archery is waaaaaaaaaay overpowered once you're able to stagger enemies.

One handed is at 90 and destruction is at 84. At these levels when I hit someone in the face they go FLYING. It's awesome with a chain lightning shot to a bandit on a bridge.

Nearly max Archery, sneak, lockpick.
Maxed Pickpocket way too early.

Recently finished the Thieves guild quest. Might become an Imperial.

I did have a character that has smithing at 83 while I was only level 5 but my PS3 didn't like that and swallowed my save file and gave me 4 different auto-saves... Is that normal, the auto saves thing?

Why would you do that? That's such a dumb exploitation of game mechanics.

...

[small] Oh who am I kidding, I did it as well [/small]

On topic: My smithing is at 100, (due to many differing factors none of which involving iron daggers) and my one handed is at 93, those are my two highest skills, and I'm currently at around level 33. However, I have stopped playing that character as much as of late, as I'm finding the typical spellsword gameplay to be a bit inconsistent. Yeah, I can do decent damage at melee and at range, but I'm not overly great at either, avd even with dragon scale armour, light armour makes me totally weak sauce.

Lately I've been playing a pure mage, so I expect my next maxed skill will on that character, almost certainly destruction magic. I'm also very eager to try out this crazy OP stealth archer set up that everybody has been talking about.

Ya from what I heard the level cap is 81, but there's a soft cap of 50-something when it starts to become very hard to level.

My highest skill is Enchanting at 86 or so. My second is a tie between Smithing and Sneak, which are at 84. The rest of my skills are all in the 50s-70s, excepting Two-handed weapons. Two-handed has been stuck around 35 for most of the game, because I don't particularly enjoy it. My figures are approximate though. Last time I played it was 4am a few days ago, and I'm stuck at my parents' house and can't check exact numbers.

Sneak is, of course, the most overpowered skill. Not because you're invisible (illusion offers that too), but because of the ridiculous sneak attack damage.
This. My assassin was one hit killing everything with 30x crit damage on daggers.

And this.

My first character, I decided to role play as Artemis Entreri. Which meant I was fighting with a sword in my main hand and a dagger in my off hand. My ultimate goal was:

to have Daedric Sword main hand, name it Charon's Claw, and enchant it with either elemental damage of some kind, or magicka damage. Kinda hard to exactly get Charon's Claw effect out of the limited set available to Skyrim weapons.

in my offhand, a Daedric dagger, named only "Jeweled Dagger". Enchant it with Fiery Soul Trap and Absorb Health. It's basically the perfect recreation of what the Jeweled dagger does, this was what I was most excited about. I also had Azura's black star, so I'd be able to soul trap humies just like Artemis.

Ancient Dark Brotherhood armor, improved to legendary. The headpiece was the only one I'd replace, using a cowl that fortified sneak instead, to honor the black brimmed hat he usually wears that helps hide him from creatures seeing in the infrared spectrum.

If you'll all note, I used passed tense in all of this. I was doing this. That was before I overwrote all my save files. On a whim, I started an Orc barbarian. Just kinda wanted to swing around a warhammer for a little while (ORC SMASH!). I spent all of 20 minutes on it. Quicksaved before I left.

I didn't make any hard saves of my assassin. Which means every autosave and the quicksave slot were all overwritten. I was level 36, I had my smithing maxed out, had enchanting up to 67 and was working hard to get it maxed (needed master level for the Jeweled Dagger dual-enchantment). I had spent 50+ hours on it at that point .

I take responsibility for it, as a PC gamer I should know better than to not make backup saves. But seriously, how are there not character slots? How hard would it be for new characters to save in a separate subfolder? (inb4 harder than making a backup save)

On my warrior character, my smithing, one-handed, block (though i only did that to level up, i have no perks invested in it) and heavy armour skills are 100, and on my mage my conjuration is 100.

My main character is level 50.

His main skills are all at 100 and are as follows: Two-handed: 100. One-handed: 100. Block: 100. Heavy Armor: 100. Smithing: 100. And some random skills like Lockpicking are at 60 something due to the amount of locked chests I have opened.

Also the max level cap is 81.

Why would you spam iron daggers???

I learned early on that orcish armor is the only one that actually turns a profit (meaning I bought the material, made it and upgraded it and I still made money), so i just spammed that. So yeah, smithing level 100. Destruction and one hand are pretty good, both around 75. I've been dual wielding blades swords you get from the main quest so I can be a ninja boss so my block is like level 16. I wanna max out my destruction so I can cast the master level destruction spells. Nothing felt as awesome as the first time I used a blizzard scroll.
