Skyrim multiple characters question

Me and my brother are sharing a copy of Skyrim on PC. My question is, will we be able to have 2 different characters without our saves overriding each other? I don't want us to share one character because I'm worried he'll screw something up.

You can have several characters, so as long as you don't save over each others only save of any given character, you'll be fine.

The autosaves will overlapse yes.

But you can just save your game under " Game" and your brothers under " Game"
