Skyrim and BF3 are pre-ordered. I'll be saving Saints Row 3 together with Uncharted 3 for December. Strangely, getting AC:R is indefinitely postponed. Which is odd because I love me some Assassin's Creed.

Never was a fan of CoD so that's meh.
Battlefield 3 seemed interesting until EA announced Origin and the browser-only functionality.
I played the previous Assassin's Creeds and rather burned out of the franchise. They're fun games but nothing amazing.
Skyrim is basically the Massively-Single-Player-Offline-Bore-Playing-Game that Oblivion was... but with Dragons. Nothing interesting there.
Saint's Row will be overshadowed inevitably. I'll get it once a complete version of the game comes out.

Revelations. I'd get Skyrim, but I'd rather not have to pay for all of the DLC AND the game. I'll wait for it to come out with GotY.
Maybe Uncharted 3, none of the others until they drop in price. Definitely not MW3.

im more and more tempted by skyrim although i have never played oblivion, but i did get into fallout 3 and new vegas... just the whole fantasy stuff isnt for me, but skyrim looks amazing... ahhhhh dunno what to do!

I've already Pre-ordered Skyrim, and will most likely be losing my job very, very soon, so I guess that will be the only one I'm getting for a while.
Probably (Hopefully, if I can restrain myself), I won't get anything new before the end of the year. I shouldn't be wasting any more of my money on games this year, and I really want to pr-order/buy GW2 as soon as possible.

I've already pre-ordered Skyrim and Mass Effect 3 (Even though it's not part of this discussion, I will still discus it), and somehow I need to work Arkham City into my budget. Saints Row and Assassin's Creed (It's weird, I love that series but Revelations just isn't exciting me) will unfortunately be thrown on the back-burner for now.
Not buying any shooters this year, though. If I were, I'd go with Halo: CE Anniversary but it's an RPG/Batman kind of year.

Pre-ordered Skyrim, Assassin's Creed Revelations and Modern Warfare 3. I'll probably wait until Battlefield 3 gets cheaper before getting it (if ever), same with Saint's Row 3.
Skyward Sword, gonna preorder it soon. Skyrim doesn't interest me, nor does BF3 and MW3, not to mention two of the worst companies in the industry are behind them.
Well, I originally ignored Fallout 3 because I wasn't interested in a post-apocalyptic world. But as I read more reviews I noticed how similar it was to Oblivion, so I bought it and loved it. Not because of the theme/IP/atmosphere but because of the typical open-world gameplay.silverbullet1989 said:

Short answer: If you like Fallout 3/New Vegas, youu'll probably like Oblivion/Skyrim.
