Im a level 50 wood elf in Skyrim and I got 500dmg 40fire 40ice bow including bonuses from armor (and I think I can make an even better armor and bow), also I got tons of +150% bow dmg marksman potions (again I think I can make better ones), so I can kill practically anything in 1-3 shots.
I have 23x hp (100 base) and I put every bonus point in stamina so there are a few things that kill me in 1-2 hit so I still got some challenge.
Questions:
Am I overpowered?
What the best weapon you got?
What the best armor you got?
Do you think that if I start investing in hp it will ruin the game for me?
EDIT: Im already playing on master difficulty...

Well your level 50 so of course you're going to be super overpowered :p its how it works.

Me id say mages, while they arent as broken as in oblivion , theyre still pretty bad, especiallty when you get the destruction perk that staggers enemies when you hit them with spells

Well, archery is overpowered by default and being level 50 just helps it. Try playing on Master? Though I doubt it will change much considering that the AI is the problem.

When I ran my jack of all trades into a room at level 52 and got jumped by 4 Draugr Death Overlords and something like 10 Deathlords (all wielding enchanted ebony weapons, natch) and won, I realized I was overpowered.

It just comes from being level 50.

A fun way to be overpowered is to play a mage with master Enchanting/Destruction. Make yourself 4 items that reduce the cost of Destruction spells by 25%, and BOOM.....free Destruction spells.

Have fun....

Just bump the difficulty up until it feels right for you

mages are good for dragons but thats about it. the higher you go the worse mages are. im a lvl 48 high elf atm with most of my skill towards magic. i only have a couple of skill points into 1 handed weapons and 100 smithing and enchanting. i do way more damage with my glass sword then any spell can put out, even if i had unlimited magicka. think about it, icy spear does 90 damage with perks, and as you say it staggers... my glass sword does 95 dmg + 46 frost damage + stuns for 2 seconds... i can literally kill anything without getting hurt.

also dont tell anyone but late game the only difference between light armor and heavy is weather you want the stamina regen+ 10% chance of no damage or 50% less stagger and 10% chance to reflect damage. it is very easy to get to the armor cap with both light and heavy armor

edit: i just upped my sword to 127 dmg, found a +50% blacksmith potion. also means i now am waaaay over 580 armor (or whateva it is that give 80% reduction) despite still having having a couple more perks that can up it
Really? Ive played through as an assassin and a warrior before and ive found that the mage is easily the best so far, enemies cant cant get close enough to damage me and i dont have to spend so much money on potions, plus, i have a stamina reserve to get out of tight situations, though this may change later on. On the contrary ive actually found dragons harder with my mage since he cant take that much damage from their attacks

I wouldn't know. Doing 12x or 30x sneak attack damage every time renders them kinda useless against me =/

I buy potions just out of convience, and if i didnt then i would have too much money to ever realistically do anything with.
Also while the mage may not do as much damage its more the fact that I stagger foes at a distance, i regen mana at a ridiculous rate, and my fire does lasting damage to their health.

When I get my enchanting up itll probably get worse :p

i was kind of talking about earlier on. i kill dragons now by just standing still and waiting for them to come try and eat me so i can just hit em with my sword
Mweh, I don't. It's as hard as you make it for yourself :p
Some dragons are a cakewalk like stomping on an ant. THe next moment -I- am the ant. (the 30x sneak bonus comes from daggers, not swords mind you.) Most dragons I encounter fly overhead. Havn't been to any place yet where they 'roost'.

Though I do wonder a few things. Sometimes I see a Novice Mage and.. well he tears me apart. Especially with icespells which make me not move so fast anymore. And -that- is my weakness x3

the paralyze enchant is a warriors best friend for both single opponents and multiple opponents, its way better then staggering
I might try that on a warrior sometime, im still experimenting really, its more that ive been doing pure builds so far instead of mixing it up, when i make my argonian Im going to blend stealth and magic probably

My character is level 48, with 1100 armor, 420 hp, 44% magic resist, 280 stamina, and a pair of Daedric Swords that each do 368 damage.

Plus I've got 90% easier lockpicking and stupid amounts of hp regen.

I'm completely invincible and I can kill most everything in 1-2 hits.

If you're concerned about being overpowered why dont you just choose to use less rapey equipment?
Im level 42.. but i choose to wear elven armour and im using a regular ebony bow, with iron arrows.
Im only playing on normal so its still mostly easy, but at least the boss fights are a challenge which tbh is how i want it to be, i like 1 hitting the crappy bandits i come across, and then having to actually try for the master enemies.

All those perks you put towards getting that armour is pointless, the cap is 80% reduction which you hit at 567.

With the smithing perks you gain about +50 Armour for each piece at 100 Smithing. With Daedrics base that means you have 308 base. There is a hidden +100 for wearing all 4 pieces, that makes it 408. All you need is to upgrade your armour with a +50% Smithing Potion running and take 1 Armour Perk and you hit the cap.
This is all very true.

What it doesn't take into account is that I have 1100 armor. I'm well aware that it doesn't actually do anything, but it's fucking awesome to look at my character screen and see such an obscene number. Especially since there's no other perks I actually want. I finished with all the perks relevant to my playstyle by level 30, everything since then has just been window-dressing for me to fuck around with.
