Skyrim Patch!

Skyrim 1.5 is coming out soon. All the details of the patch is on the Escapist but which bit are you most excited for you?

For me, kill cams for projectile weapons simply just a wonderful throwback to Fallout.
Also, Lydia, my love! (I can marries Lydia now :3)

I haven't played it since half-way through December...completed all the "guilds", the main story, a boat-load of sidequests, and just kinda...stopped playing. I reckon I'll dust it off sooner or later and start playing again, but for now I've moved on.

I have also burned out on Skyrim though, don't think I'll be touching it for a long long time.

After playing some Bioware games again, thinking of playing Skyrim just makes me shudder of being in a world so large yet so devoid of characters with personality.

I got all of Unrelenting Force then called it quits. "Hours of random questing fun" begins! Then... the next hundred hours are gone.

I also dig the ranged/magic killcams in the new patch. I will be starting my second run pretty soon it seems.

I actually enjoyed the quests and the atmosphere more in Morrowind but the combat drove me insane.

You have to go into the combat either not caring about it or with a very DnD/spreadsheet oriented mindset. If you appreciate the stats and such its not that bad, but I completely understand why so many people hate it.

i dont know why people want to marry lydia (or anyone else in the world) because all the characters are devoid of any personality, will agree to marry purely because you did a fetch quest for them, and there is no game play benefit. Everyone seems obsessed with lydia but she only follows you because she is your slave (sworn to you)

saying this i did marry the girl from the Riverwood general store but that was because
1. i found it ironic that she broke up with sven because you gave her a fake letter from him saying he wanted her to stay in the kitchen while he went adventuring and then she married me and spent the rest of her life staying in my kitchen while i went out adventuring
2. i wanted to see if the money they made was decent (its such a small amount its insignificant next to the tens of thousands you make questing)

I'm more interested in getting a patch for the Creation Kit. I'm not interested in playing Skyrim anymore, but I'm enjoying making my own levels and would enjoy so more if the Navmesh worked and all my NPC's didn't have blue faces. The project I've undertaken is pretty large (aiming to complete it by September) and it's be nice to know that it's going to work after all that effort.

I just hope that it brings in more stability. And I hope it doesn't kill too many mods. Thankfully the beta patch will let the modders know what to fix ahead of time.

So true, I just beat the main quest today, and had to kill Alduin AGAIN because I forgot to save and my game glitched out. On the other hand SMITHING TIME! I need to get it up to at least 90 before the patch comes out, because I WANT DAEDRIC ARMOR! Just another 4 levels to go!
