I keep having this problem when playing skyrim,whenever I'm playing skyrim after a short period the computer freezes, both keyboard and mouse become unusable (so i cannot alt + tab out), but then if i leave it for a bit everything becomes usable and the game continues as normal, however this freezing continues and becomes more frequent and takes longer before it resumes each time. sometimes no sound plays when this is about to occur.
originally i suspected it was the new graphics card i had inserted but it seems to work perfectly fine whenever i play anything other than skyrim, and it still happens when I've lowered the graphics detail to its lowest possible point.
one of my friends believes it may be my power supply isn't powerful enough to power my graphics card to the requirements of skyrim.
so now i turn to you for any advice on what you may believe the problem is coming from or how you may have dealt with this issue. any advice would be greatly appreciated.
