I thinking about getting Skyrim when i get my Christmas money this year (grandparents gave up actually buying me stuff long ago). I'm a little worried after hearing all the problems it has on PS3 and haven't heard much about whether these issues affect the Xbox 360 version or not(friends say no but none of them are playing the 360 version).

Just so you know PC version isn't an option as my rig can't even run Oblivion (i need to upgrade but it probably won't happen til sometime next year).

So is Skyrim worth my time on 360 or should I wait for a patch or two?

I'm a bit biased, but I'll answer.

Once I started modding, I've never gone back to a console. Besides the thousands of new items, races, and quests people have added, you can morph the game physics, or go on a rampage by changing numbers around. Cutting a guard in half and then resurrecting both halves as the Legless Avenger and his sidekick, altering another guard to transform him into an extremely powerful warrior and making him homicidal, jumping 50 feet in the air, or just altering your facial features on the fly.

If you get the 360 Skyrim, you'll probably have a lot of fun with it. But when the nexus forums start churning out Skyrim mods, you won't have access to them. I wouldn't recommend any type of console for this game, as a pc has far more options and customization.

I would say yes. I have played with 5 different charecters and not once have I come across any game breaking glitches. There was that one misc quest where the women refused to leave the cave but it didn't relly matter. Sometimes you will find that there a bit of water missing from the world but that doesn't really change anything.
