Rip Lydia, death by bandit arrows, pulled 97 out of her corpse

Reading this makes images of Boromir, fighting bravely in slow-motion while despite the barrage of arrows, flash through my mind.
And now I'm imagining a Nord woman in a similar scene, except with 50+ arrows having pierced her body, and she refuses to even slow down as she charges down a snowy slope, dispatching bandits left and right.

I have yet to buy the game, but this thread is higly entertaining, humorous, and spoiler-free.

OP: I refuse to let Cicero (my favorite companion and the only one I use) die.

I actually did that but it's not giving me the speech options to initiate marriage/romance with her.
I don't know who else it's available with so I haven't tested it on anyone else but that's not working for me

Sounds like Lydia really needs to go back to combat training camp.

I actually have her in my house. Was thinking about taking her with me to assist and though I have a healing hand spell to heal people... all the stories with her dieing so easily- I think I will just keep her in my house. What's odd is that whenever I buy food, bread, apples... stuff to make with alchemy, she GRABS it from me and eats it. Would be irritated, but she only grabs one thing to chew on. I feel amused yet odd.

ESPECIALLY when I first came to my house after it was bought thinking it was empty just for me... I slept and when waking up, turn to see her sitting in a chair eating bread. I just stood there staring, trying to figure out why she was in my house and what she did for 8 hours.

Lydia helps herself to your food? I thought she'd be safe, locked up in my house. With all my skooma.

RIP: Lydia. Whether from skooma overdose, or severe chastising in Dragonspeak from vengeful skooma-loving home owner, remains to be seen.
