So I thought we should have a little fun here on the Escapist. And since Skyrim seems to be pretty popular here, why not use that.
The idea is simple; you post a picture and a short description of your (or one of your) Skyrim characters, and then the person that posts next rates it and does the same.
Try to use an easy rating system, like X/10, etc.
So, to get things started. and as an example, here is mine.
Race: Nord
Name: Amberly
Standing Stone: The Lady Stone
Class: Crusader-Paladin
- Major Skills: One-Handed, Block, Restoration
- Minor Skills: Heavy Armor, Smithing, Enchanting
Civil War: Imperial Legion
Allegiance: Dawnguard, College of Winterhold
Divines: Dibella
Daedra: Meridia
Background:
As one of the few Nords capable of wielding magic, Amberly always thought her future lay within the halls of the College in Winterhold, studying how best to use her natural talent for healing to help Skyrim. That all changed the night the vampires raided her family's sawmill. Despite both being veterans of the Great War, her mother and father stood little chance against the power of the vampiric magic and their undead minions. Amberly fled into the night, managing to escape by swimming across the nearby river and fleeing into the woods - the vampires were apparently uninterested in pursuing a small girl.
After managing to make her way to Dragon Bridge, the guards recognized her and brought her to Solitude. While the High King had made promises to find and root out these vampires, he could not afford to have another orphan wandering the streets of and roads of Skyrim, so he used his influence to force Amberly's acceptance into the College. While there, Amberly's hatred for the undead only grew, in line with her mastery of restorative magic - but unlike her fellow classmates, she dedicated herself to mastery of a martial nature, which inevitably led to a few mishaps with her classmates. Ward training is far less effective when your training partner is equally like to punch you in the face as she is to cast magic after all.
Amberly eventually left the College and dedicated herself to elimination of undead in Skyrim. Her zeal for killing (re-killing?) the undead is known throughout Skyrim - rumors persist that the Daedric god Meridia even has blessed Amberly in her pursuit, gifting her with a powerful weapon with which to drive the undead from the land.
