so from a scale of 0-10 (0 being it doesn't even load up and 10 being there are absolutely no bugs or glitches what so ever) What do you think skyrim will be at launch?

I think it will a 7 at best and a 4 at worst. There are normally quite a lot of problems with games on release. That's a fact but with game as complex and intricate as this i don't think it would be out of the question for there to a be a great number of flaws. At least shortly after release anyway.

More importantly what do you think?

Wait, if the scale is from 0-10, with ten being very good, why is 7 "at worst"?

Anyways: Uh, I guess it'll be as stable as they rest of their Elders Scrolls games at launch.
We'll just have to wait for it to be released to find out.

Shit's a Bethesda game, son.

I'll be playing it with a flyswatter and a can of Raid.

Almost certain there will be bugs and glitches but it will be playable.

How playable remains to be seen.

As long as they release the Creation Kit as close to launch as possible then i'll be able to set about fixing any of the bigger issues I come across.

I've usually had good luck, even with New Vegas, so I'm sure I'll get 8 to 10 hours in before an .exe fail or moon walking deer stuck under a bridge.

I'm hoping it's nearer to a 10 as I'll be playing it on an offline 360 (unless I can SOMEHOW download the patch(es) to a USB and install it that way).

Pretty much exactly this. I think you got your scale a little backwards bro. ANyhow, I'm betting it'll be better than Oblivion was at launch. Granted, I never had any game breaking problems with Oblivion, but I greatly anticipate this game.

I found Oblivion and Morrowind to be 8-9's - occasional glitches, CTD's once every long while, but nothing game-breaking. Expect similar here.

I'm foreseeing that there will be 3 recent-ish, popular video card models it ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT work with. I'm also foreseeing that the minimum specs will be a complete fabrication, and you will want to have at least twice the recommended amount of RAM before the game will look decent and run reasonably smoothly. I also foresee that there will be objects of absolutely no significance made out of 5000 polygons for no discernable reason.

However, provided you don't have one of the video card models with the EVIL VOODOO CURSE on it, you should be okay apart from the numerous ways to break quests and/or bug out NPC's/doors/objects/traps. That, and the occasional crash.

Now, the only "at launch" Bethesda game I've bought is Fallout: New Vegas. Every kept going on about there being tonnes of bugs and being really unplayable, but I played it through before any patches were released and the only bug I ever found was where the dog's eyes went funny at the beginning of the game... so I really never saw what everyone was bitching about.

I expect this'll be the same. Maybe a couple of graphical glitches and bugs, but general playability (on your scale) I'd say would be an 7-9. Long as I can play it and not have it crap out like Rage did (from what I saw on videos that were posted), I'll be happy and ignore little things.
