I don't think they released system specs yet. So I don't think anyone knows.

Like, really, it's impossible to say. Yeah it's run on consoles, but we don't know if it'll be as poorly optimized as Oblivion was, or if it'll be very well optimized(I'm hoping to all things holy that they brought in Carmack to help them optimize the engine. God knows they need his help with engine-building).

So yeah, we wait.

Though remember, there will always be mods to optimize it if Bethesda fails to. Like with Oblivion. So take that into consideration.

You should get Skyrim on PC anyway for mod support. Getting it on Xbox would just be silly.

Your computer is much the same as mine, and I estimate that we will be able to play it on medium or low settings, but we won't be getting exceptional performance or breathtaking graphics. I'm going to wait until my next regularly scheduled computer upgrade to pick up Skyrim.

No but seriously, get a 200-300 series card, they're pretty cheap.

Or even a 500 series, they're down to 300 from 500 and the 400 series are easily under 200 now.

Hell even the 560 is pretty cheap.

The only question mark in your system is the GPU and I think the GTX 460 will pull the same or less power for far superior performance so your current PSU should be fine. (Just checked via google and the numbers I got were 8800 gt 245w and GTX 460 303w so maybe not).
