i've recently had an agument with a troll...the subject was my mom but eventuly i won the battle so it got me thinking??....

How do you slay a troll? (internet trolls)

That one works fine for the scary, eating-people kind of trolls. Less so for internet ones.

Generally just ignoring them (or if possible, blocking) is the best option. Reporting them, too.

Above all else, remain calm.

If you get into an argument with them, they've already won.

Woah, you guys would be screwed if you were really attacked by a troll.

If we're talking about a medieval fantasy setting, I'd use a bow to immobilize it from a distance by hitting its leg, then I'd fire towards its head and neck, it'll be an easy target after it has been immobilized.

Modern times, I'd go with any average firearm with decent caliber.

I believe your thinking of the wrong kind of Troll!

They want your attention, it's what they crave. Don't give it to them.

As with anyone who is determined to annoy you, just ignore them. They'll get bored and leave you alone eventually. And that is a victory on your part, no matter what they say.
