Since mid week all I can ever do when I go to bed is dream of texturing models, texture maps and animating.

Uni is killing me :|

I have to technically be up in 2 hours to get ready to go to my animation lesson 9 and after 4 hours sleep (waking up in between) I don't think I'm gonna be able to hack the day but blahh.

So finding it incredibly hard to sleep because I'm having to retexture everything for one of my lessons is a bit of a stupid reason for lack of sleep and the bad dreams that come out of just 2 subjects at uni.

Oh and as I'm typing this, the boyfriend is quite happily snoring away and hasn't realised I'm not in bed.

Do any of you find it hard or struggle to sleep at certain times? Or had any past experiences?

*Cough* Sounds like you have a very interesting life...

I can?t talk though because the things I do are stay up all night playing video games go to school go to work play more video games then sleep ... So if that answers your question I only sleep when I can?t keep my eyes open so...Yes

You just described part of me.
The very handsome and well meaning part or the uninteresting part?

I do not sleep anymore. I have found it to be a waste of time. I can accomplish so much more with the extra "8" hours. Try it sometime, evolving is fun!

Usually only when I've got a big test the next day...like tommorrow, I'm taking the one of the biggest tests for one subject, A YEAR EARLY! I feel good now, but I know when I get to bed, I'll be thinking 'okay...now that one is ar^(n-1)... can I remember all the steps for Loan Repayments... gah...what does sin^2x + cos^2x equal again? oh yeah.....1' And my dreams will be filled with all kinds of assorted mathematical symbols.

I often have random problems with sleep, it'll be fine for ages, then suddenly i find that ive stayed up all night watching scrubs or something, and then have to work out how best to get some rest and keep up with life.

Try working on a film set. If you ever have you know what I mean. but i guess that is offset by doing what you love for a living.

I can usually sleep without too much of a hitch. Tonight is much different. My family is going through some tough economic times and I'm not quite sure that my grades will be up to par with them at this point in time to warrant $40,000 a year going to college. I just have this niggling doubt in the back of my mind that all I've done here will be down to nothing.

I have no backup plan, never had a backup college. RIT was the only place I applied. I have no job back at home. I'm just so worried about what I'm going to do if it doesn't work out. Winter quarter registration is in three hours and, though I have all my classes picked out, I just feel as though its all for naught.

I've decided to pull an all nighter seeing as I just almost cried after watching "Fever Pitch". I'm just too emotionally distraught to warrant laying down and drowning in self-pity as I attempt to sleep.

So here I sit: enjoying The Escapist and watching Coheed and Cambria's "Neverender" DVD while my roommate sleeps with nary a care in the world.

Sorry for the "blog" type post. This thread just got me thinking... a lot...

I used to sleep maybe 4-5 hours a night when I used to have a job which finished at midnight, and I had to be up at 7 everyday for uni. It was annoying, but you got used to being tired all of the time. Interestingly, I dreamt less when I had less sleep, because now I'm in a job which finishes at 8 or 9 at the latest, so I can go to bed at midnight at get a good night's sleep every night. And I've been dreaming a lot more, so that's an interesting point to take out of all of this.
