Ok so I have a bit of a dilemma here. I haven't slept a full 8 hours for more than one night in a row in weeks and its starting to catch up with me. The problem is I just tried to get a good nights sleep and all it got me was at least three minor episodes of Sleep Paralysis. For those of you who don't know sleep paralysis is when you wake up from a dream without your brain realizing you've woken up, so your conscious but paralyzed and what you were just dreaming about seems to be in the room with you. Unfortunately I wasn't dreaming about pleasant things and believe me this is one of the most terrifying (non life threatening) experiences someone can have. I have also been slurring words a lot recently and I believe that both of these problems stem from my lack of sleep.
So here is my problem. I need to get some sleep, but how can I sleep knowing I could have another one of these sleep paralysis episodes. I cannot even begin to describe how much I don't want to experience that again. Anyone experienced this before and if so you have any suggestions on how to get some proper sleep.
