Right now it is 12:15 A.M. E.S.T.
I have important stuff to do tomorrow and I have been sleeping through my alarm clock.
I present to you a simple challenge, make me sleepy.

not a way to make you sleepy, but a progressive relaxation which helps.

lay in bed on your back with your hands at your sides, breathe normally, and then gradually make your breathing slower and longer.
stay completely still and relax your body, starting at your feet and working your way up. try to imagine you're slowly sinking through the bed. and then once you've relaxed all the way to your head, just lay there and try not to think, and you should fall asleep.

The great Anarchemitis was the one who showed me this vid, though, so I take no credit for finding it.

Also, looking at a bright monitor can not be helping, but I feel for you. I'm in the exact same boat...

Reading usually does it for me - not online though. Pick up a book, especially a boring old history book... I'll bet you'll be out in a few minutes.

Put on some slow, soft music, get comfortable in your bed, and just close your eyes. Try not to think of anything.

A. Don't be disgusting.

B. The triptophane (Can't remember how to spell it and can't be arsed to check.) in turkey is outweighed by the other stuff.

Read a book, reading in bed makes me really tired...
Or take sleeping pills, what nature can't do, drugs can!

This fellow speaks the truth! Seriously though, stray away from sleeping pills seriously addicting, or habit forming or what have you... I will not sleep if I'm out of 'em.

Hm, that's funny, books make me hyper. I guess that's why I'm called a bibliophile =)

I once fell asleep in class while listening to Rammstein...
Proof that as long as you have some kind of music, it helps.

I am almost out of pills and I have a very high tolerance to all forms of chems. (Injects a vial of Kieth Richards blood.) Bliss.

I guess you will just have to live with insomnia, it really isn't that bad... More gaming time.

This is working swimmingly for me. It's trippy and it's getting the job done, whats not to love. My thanks to Jamanticus and Anarchemitis.
