I will usually wake up at 3 am, The witching hour! There might be something to that... Also, I have a chance to develop insomnia after I stay up past 12, which is quite irritating when I try to fall asleep, but I can't, and then the following day I'll be so drained from the lack of sleep that I'll crash in class... And then wake up very confused and uncomfortable several minutes later.

EDIT: Forgot to mention my body's odd circadian rhythm, when allowed to do what it wants, my body (if not in an insomniatic state) will just fall asleep at around 3 am, and promptly arise at around 2 pm, which means I miss about half the day due to my really late sleep patterns. I feel great after that though... But school starts at 7 in the morning! Yippee! Nothing is healthier than disrupting your body's natural rhythm!

The best thing to do when you can't sleep is to take a walk in the crisp night air.Plus sleeping pills don't work.

im 13, i dont think sleeping pills are good for me. and i dont wanna go outside. its fucking dark still. and i hate walking for no real reason.
If your to young to walk on your own have a parent/guardian walk with you. And if your to lazy to walk then you don't have sleeping problems bad enough to worry about.
they are not awake, and they dont want to be awake now.

I've always had trouble getting to sleep...

Lately my pessimistic outlook and life concerns have been keeping me up.

I have problems due to my paranormal sensitivity.

Even if none of it is real, it's real in my mind, and I know what I see, hear, and feel.

And it is very hard to sleep when they don't want me to.

Stack that on top of the fact that I already have some anxiety issues and trouble sleeping anyway, and you get a very restless person. x_x

Every night, I lay down in my bed, close my eyes, and lay there for just a few minuets. Then this buzz starts to fill my ears, like someone left the TV on. Only problem is, no electronic device is turned on. The buzz gets louder and louder until eventually I feel this sharp electric pulse go through my head. It causes me to jump out of my bed and stay there for a few moments before giving sleep another go.

This used to happen only as I was trying to get to sleep. I figured it was me reliving the things I had heard that day. Just recently it has expanded into my sleeping cycle. I have literally jumped out of sleeping and back into the waking world.

I think that counts as a sleeping disorder. I also think I will be going to see a doctor soon.

Yeah... delayed sleep phase here. Been slowly resetting it to "standard" phase via light therapy. Yeah, it's annoying and disrupts my day. Luckily, the body doesn't do many things which are incurable.

...except develop cancer and kill you. That's sorta incurable. Sorta.

I almost always have trouble sleeping :/ What I usually do Is go two nights without sleeping (Just surfing the web on my laptop, like now, For the whole night) Then Use my extreme tiredness to get a night of blissful sleep...tonight was meant to be one of those, But I woke up at around 3am, And thinking it must be about 10am, becuase i wasnt tired and such, So, Thinking to myself 'Huzzah...Sleep ftw...' I went downstairs and was watching tv and horsing into the cheerios box for about ten-twenty minutes before thinking 'Hang on, why is it dark outside?...Ah Bugger' so here I am...back on my laptop waiting out the night :( when I started this I carelessly fell asleep just when most people would be getting up, so then I slept through the day And my 'Fantastic' Doctor and Nurse of parents were going 'Lulz Sleeping disorder TO THE HOSPITAL.' Seeing as my brother has a sleeping disorder and...I just realised, No one cares about any of this, just wanted a thread reply...so the anwser is YES
