I heard (somewhere) that you could defeat Slenderman by standing on top of a ladder, stilts, or on the third story of a building, because he can't grasp the concept that his prey can be taller than him.

Again, as a community created character, that is certainly not "canon." But to me, the best part of the character is the mystery. Why shouldn't he have some stupid "weaknesses" like that?
