Is the slider bar that thing that makes the "wah wah" effects on sustained notes? If so, I always liked using it in Rock Band. I rarely remembered it was there, but when I did, the small point boost was kind of nice, and I'll admit that the effects sounded pretty cool.

No, the slider bar is the part on the new guitar hero controllers that you just press on... sorry, it's hard to explain if you use rock band, it's on the guitar hero controllers, not sure if there on the rock band controllers

I didn't really use it. But, given that my GH:WT guitar broke randomly and refused to strum down, it's not like I have much of a choice.

When you said "slider bar", my thought was "yeah, sliders aren't very precise. Can they just use a numerical parser so I don't have to slide that little thing back and forth? Paradox Interactive, especially. Take note. It wasn't cool in HoI2, it's not cool in HoI3, just give us text parsers in the HoI3 expansion."

GH is so last decade.

It's so so. At least the thing actually WORKS. The only problem comes down to the placement and design of it. It's too far away from the fret buttons, and because there are no indentations on the bar itself, you'll find yourself hitting two notes on the slider bar without knowing.
