As i've noticed many people on here are quite creative and I need a little bit of help. Basically I was thinking of starting my own photography business and what not for weddings, parties, funerals....whatever and so I need a name for it and since almost everything is taken now a days...I need creative minds :)

Well, I can't really think of a name right now, but I can think of some you CAN'T use:

Picture Perfect
Perfect Picture
Photos by [insert name here]
Framed Memories

You'd be better off thinking of a name yourself. It should be something that means something to you and describes your business.

Pixilated.

...and no, that's not a typo (pixilated [http://www.thefreedictionary.com/pixilated]). It's derived from the same origin as 'pixie', and is approximately homophonic with 'pixelated'.

We take photos of you and sell them back to you. At designated prices, see in store for full price list, subject to change. People don't want a witty title, they want to know what they're getting.

Bizarrely enough, that might actually make quite a good name for a photographic business (the apature of a camera being that which lets the light in to expose the film (or sensor if its a digital camera)) Of course you probably already knew this and I now most likely sound like a total plank. Appologies if this is the case.

Well whatever you do don't pick 'The Roving Artist', I'll tell my dad and he'll be forced to sue you.

Of course, that won't happen cause it hasn't got anything to do with photography :p (he's a silhoette artists... if you need a unique entertainer for weddings, coorporate events or just parties, he's your man, search "The Roving Artist in google! *ehem* I'll stop blatant advertising now... he's good though! Please don't kill me mods >_<)

hmmm.. names eh? well how about 'Photo's R' Us', if you want a big toy company breathing down your neck :p

OK I'll stop being stupid now! errrrmmm... well, knowing your name might help, why don't you theme it around your surname or something? In the end what really matters is whether you can make decent photographs afterall, you need to advertise and get yourself known by other small business's.

ok... I just checked for any synonyms for "photo's" and there weren't any rhyming with Jones... damn >_< well, don't worry too much about the name, it can be something a tad generic and it won't matter too much.

What you need to make sure is that your business is well known (trust me, my dads got his own small business and he knows about this kind of stuff).

Try and find networks of other small business's and try and get yourself known among them. That way your business can be known through these business's, in exchange for you knowing about their business's as well. Also, it may cost a tad bit, but I do believe its possibly to get Google to bump your website up to the first place when someone searches the name of your business. Also, advertise as much as financially possible!
