No, not the MGS game. *watches everyone leave*

I'm talking about a B-Movie, action trilogy from 1989-1992.

Really if you haven't heard of it, I don't blame you. Its a was made in Canada and as stated above it is a B-Movie trilogy.

The main character of the trilogy is Jack "Soldier" Kelly, an Ex-Marine turned police officer. In the Marines he was part of a Special Forces unit called "Snake Eaters". The unit was trained in Search and Destroy tactics. He uses said tactics/skills during various "missions" in the movies. He is rather....unorthadox in his policing methods, to the point where it doen't really seem that he takes his job seriously or is overly reckless. Overall he is a very likeable character, with a great sense of humour.

WARNING: These reviews contain spoilers.

Snake Eater

Plot:
The movie starts off with an attack on a Yacht/House-boat in the backwoods of some southern state. A scene or two later "Soldier" is informed that his parents have been killed and that his sister is missing. So he heads off to investigate and find his sister. During his investigation he meets a man named King, who takes a somewhat of a fatherly liking to Soldier. King offers Soldier a place to stay while he continues his search and also to repair his damaged motorcycle. After some poking around soldier findsout his siter was kidnapped and tacken into the backwoods. As Soldier is about to leave king reveals the "repairs" he has made to Soldiers bike. Soldier then heads off to find his sister and kill the people that have hurt his family.

Overall I liked this movie and would recommend it to any one that likes b-movies, action movies or both.

The only problem I have with this movie is that the "bad guys" are creepy hillbillies.

Snake Eater II: Drug Buster

Plot:
Soldier is teaching some kids martial arts, when one of the students suddenly collapses from an apparent drug overdose. Soldier tries to revive the young man fails. Soldier then resolves to take down the pushers and the cartel that supplied the drugs. So he breaks out the weapons he has stached in his house and with his friend "Speedboat", begins to kill them all one at a time.

-

Once again I recommend this movie. Epecially because there are no creepy Hillbillies.

Snake Eater III: His Law

Plot:
Soldier is on a stakeout/undercover sting operation. Unfortunately for the case Soldier becomes a little "overselous" in his attempt to get a confession from the suspect. As a reult of his actions he is suspended from the force. He decides help a friend, a private detective, with some cases. The case he is given is to find the 20-somthing, daughter of a rich family and return her safely. During his search for her the girl he is forced to defend himself as he gets closer to finding her.

-

Again I recommend this movie. This movie has one of the funniest scenes in the entire trilogy. This scene being the stakeout at the begining of the film.

All movies rated R

Note: This or rather, these, are my first reviews, so I welcome any and all constructive criticism.

Well I liked alot Metal Gear Solid 3 and I...oh wait it's not MGS3.

*Leaves*

Anyway for the review....you could have pulled alot more instead of plot synopsis and a line saying if you liked or not and what was cool. Was the acting was good/decent/bad/horrible? Was the action cool and "cinematic"? Was the directing was good/bad/horrible/Ed Wood? So on and on. But of course expand each point properly without it being to short or to long.

Damn you and your misleading thread title! I came here to talk about MGS, and all I got was a B-Movie from the Great White North? Meh, I guess it could have been worse =].
