SNES Game ...i can't remeber it's name.

Hi guys i really need all the SNES gamers help. Friend asked me what games i used to play and there was this 1......Gusse you could call it a spaceship i think, But the point is it was triangle shaped i think u killed enemy ships, but the main goal was to fly through check points (circles)....While wrighting this i think there was a boss at the first level where you had to kill off both sides then it ikinda died i think

It does sound like star fox. It could be star x? Or Vanark. Although I think Vanark is for the ps1, I'm a little rusty, I can't really remember.

While I'm here, does anyone know an Obscure Japanese game on the N64 that was ported into English, PAL at least, not sure about NTSC - it's most likely to be a JRPG. All I can remember is I was a fat kid (not the main character) blowing on a conch shell and I would summon a Mech to fight the bosses with. This scene has been in my head for years and I would really like to know what this game is, my family rented it out years ago and I've never seen it since. The only person I would think would know the game is my brother, which under circumstances I will not post here, is not a possibility.

While Mech games are a dime-a-dozen, the N64 saw very few mech games. So, lets try these...

It's Mystical Ninja - Sadly I can't see me enjoying that game now that I'm not 8 however.. Thanks for the help though, it's good to have that settled.
