If there had been online capability back in the day (the glorious '90s), what games (on any console) would you have played online? How would the gameplay be better/worse off for it? What DLC would you have liked to have seen for those games?

Personally, I'd still be playing 007Goldeneye online to this day, with new map packs. Also, world expansions for Pokemon Red/Blue.

Secret of Mana or any other 2 player rpg would be such a blast. Speaking of which how come modern console or PC games don't have more co-op rpg's?
Co-op RPGs are hard to make since both have to agree on the same dialogue choices

Because developers are too busy with generic shooters X, Y, and Z

Because RPG players don't have friends to play co-op with. :p

This. I tried to get friends involved in my tales of symphonia game, but...nope.
Also PSO a long time ago, ;)))

Anyway, I'd probably be on the leader boards for speed runs of things like DKC2, lol.

But I'd still play Street fighter 2.

Quite a stereotypical view there.

But I'd of loved to play I don't know... Super Metroid!

An awesome 2D game turned Multiplayer XD

Online multiplayer co-op in Contra III would be awesome. So would having multiplayer races in F-Zero and Super Mario Kart. I'm sure there's many more SNES games that would be fun to play with a friend online, but those are the ones off the top of my head.
